Box Office Attendant
Box Office Attendants sell game tickets to patrons at live gate ticket windows, manage a designated ticket bank, process transactions through the ticketing system, and ensure accurate and efficient service. They provide excellent customer service, answer ticket‑related inquiries, and assist with resolving any ticketing issues as needed.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities- Sell game tickets at box office windows using the ticketing system.
- Handle cash, credit card, and mobile payment transactions accurately.
- Provide courteous and professional customer service to all guests.
- Answer questions regarding ticket availability, pricing, seating, and promotions.
- Assist with will‑call ticket distribution and resolve ticketing issues promptly.
- Follow all box office policies and procedures, including security and fraud prevention.
- Create an exceptional experience for all guests through a safe, clean, and friendly environment.
- Previous customer service experience preferred.
- Previous ticketing system experience preferred but not required.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a focus on guest service and professionalism.
- Ability to remain calm and courteous in a fast‑paced environment.
- Basic problem‑solving skills and attention to detail.
- Must be at least 16 years of age.
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training.
Work HoursHours vary according to the game and event schedule, which will include weekends and some holidays. Must have availability to work all home games and most special events.
