North Carolina Surgery at Wilson is hiring a Per-Diem General Surgeon in Wilson, NC

The practice focuses on general surgery cases, such as breast surgery, colon surgery, and hernia surgery using laparoscopic techniques. Through its partnership with North Carolina Surgery, the practice’s patients will have easy access to a network of more than three dozen surgeons who can provide resources for complex cases.

The practice currently consists of three physicians (MDs) and two advanced practice providers, with an additional APP to be hired. Average patient volume ranges from approximately 80 to 120 patients per month, and the position includes both inpatient and outpatient responsibilities. Candidates must be board-certified or board-eligible and comfortable performing the full scope of general surgery procedures.

Qualifications

• MD or DO from an accredited medical school
• Board certified or board eligible in General Surgery
• Active North Carolina medical license (or ability to obtain)
• BLS and ACLS certification
• Experience preferred
