Chief Sales Engineer - Commercial Ground Vehicles

Description: We are currently seeking a Chief Sales Engineer - Commercial Ground Vehicle for our business headquartered in Wilson, NC.

• Strong engineering background with specific strengths in commercial vehicle design standards (bus, truck, automotive) responsible for engineered systems on Commercial Ground Vehicles.
• Program Management to drive products to completion through engineering and bring new products to new markets.

• Promote the consistent and unified direction of all applications engineers globally.
• Conduct consistent risk hazard analysis for PMark and new/existing bus chassis system configurations.
• Manage application certifications for all new builds on chassis as required by end-users.
• Oversee consistent testing and new product introduction on a global basis, including relevant standards and best practices.
• Develop new product applications in new markets globally, with a strong focus on Europe.
• Seek out lower-cost and new alternatives to current offerings.

• Responsible for entire projects with significant scope and complexity.
• Contribute to the department or business unit by applying advanced knowledge of one or more functional areas.
• Develop and coach team members.
• Possess expert knowledge extending across multiple disciplines.

• BA/BS Degree with 6-10+ years of experience.
• MA/MS Degree with 4-7+ years of experience.

• Must have an engineering degree.
• Electrical engineering preferred.
• At least 4+ years of automotive engineering experience.
• Bus/heavy truck experience preferred.
• Previous management experience preferred.
