PCB Designer - Onsite in Wilson, NC

Overview

We're searching for a hands-on, problem-solving PCB Design Engineer to join our growing team. This role is a deep dive into hardware development, where you'll be responsible for taking designs from a napkin sketch all the way to a finished, manufacturable board, including complex flex/rigid-flex assemblies!

Education:

• Lead the complete PCB design lifecycle (concept → manufacturing).
• Master tasks like schematic capture, library part creation, and optimizing component placement/routing.
• Generate final manufacturing data (Gerber/ODB++) and document everything in Altium Designer.
• Collaborate daily with our electrical, mechanical, and producibility teams.
• Be the technical expert, applying your deep knowledge of PCB design theories and manufacturing to solve complex challenges.

Minimum Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics) and five (5) years of relevant experience, OR an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum three (3) years of experience.

• Familiarity with interpreting mechanical drawings as they relate to PCB designs.
• Proficiency in using auto-router tools and constraint management within Altium.
• Ability to capture existing schematics from formats like TIFF files and perform reverse engineering for documentation.
