Project Controls Cost

Technical Source is looking for a Cost Control Support Specialist to join the Project Controls team for a major pharmaceutical client in Eastern NC. In addition to field verification, this role requires strong analytical skills, advanced Microsoft Excel proficiency, and the ability to quickly learn and navigate established cost tracking systems.

We're looking for a mid-level professional with prior, proven experience on Pharmaceutical greenfield projects.

• Validate actual invoiced amounts and classify them according to established categories (Capital, Expense, and by Business Entity).
• Organize and track purchase requests and issued purchase orders based on predefined breakdowns.
• Collect and compile cost data to support monthly cash flow analysis and forecasting.
• Perform field verification and reconcile invoiced amounts against work completed when necessary.
• Collaborate closely with the cost controls team to ensure timely and accurate reporting.

• 8–15 years of experience in cost control, project controls, or related financial/project support roles.
• Advanced Excel skills and ability to quickly adapt to proprietary cost management tools.
• Strong communication and collaboration abilities; capable of working effectively within large, cross‑functional teams.
• Demonstrated success in dynamic, high‑pressure environments.
• Eagerness to learn and contribute to a challenging, fast‑track project.

• Timely delivery of monthly cost reports,
• Executive Summary Reports (ESRs), and cash flow analyses in alignment with project deadlines.
