Job Description - Floor Technician- PRN )

Under the general supervision of the Director, EVS and Food Services and the direct supervision of the Environmental Services Supervisor and according to established policies and procedures, performs the day to day cleaning activities in residents rooms, buffing floors throughout the facility while emptying all large trash barrels and linen carts. Responsible for making mini repairs of equipment (excluding technical equipment).

Performs other work of the department as required.

• Perform day-to-day cleaning activities in residents rooms and buff floors throughout the facility.
• Empty all large trash barrels and linen carts.
• Make mini repairs of equipment (excluding technical equipment).
• Perform other work of the Environmental Services/Facilities department as required.

• Must be able to read, write and understand English.
• Previous institutional housekeeping preferred.
