Job Description - Radiology Support Technician - Days )
Under the general supervision of the Radiology Services Supervisor and the direct supervision of the Lead Radiology File Room/Support Technician, the Radiology Support Technician performs transport functions for patients in Radiology Services and assists in maintaining the Radiology film filing system. Performs other work of the Department as required.
Responsibilities- Transport patients in Radiology Services and assist in maintaining the Radiology film filing system.
- Perform other work of the Department as required.
- High School Diploma (or equivalent) and completion of a formal Nursing
- Nurse Aide I certifications are required to be listed by The Division of Facility Services.
- Experience in the use of a computer is required.
- The employees must have the ability to understand, communicate and react effectively to the unique needs of neonatal, pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric patients.
- CPR certification required and provided.
