Overview
Data Center Facilities Technician
Duration: 8 Months – (Contract/Contract To Hire)
Location: Wilson, NC – 100% Onsite
Monday - Friday 3 pm to 12 am
Job DescriptionBachelor Degree: (Required, Preferred or Not Required)
- Not Required.
- Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to, receiving equipment deliveries, configuration of server cabinets, racking and cabling of devices, cable testing, troubleshooting hardware and cabling issues, and maintaining inventory and interface documentation.
- Data Center experience.
- Operate and install computing equipment related to infrastructure and applications including servers, storage, network, and telecom.
- Familiarity with infrastructure cabling concepts.
- Troubleshooting skills to solve network issues.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills.
- Assist with shipping, receiving and distribution of equipment and hardware.
