Job SummaryResponsible for maintaining all manufacturing equipment and other required systems in the physical plant. Supports all maintenance efforts including repairs, troubleshooting, and new installations. Responsible for implementing improvements to improve efficiency and prevent equipment obsolescence. Responsible for insuring the validated state of all equipment, systems and facilities and compliance with all applicable cGMP, OSHA, DEC, EPA and local government regulations.
Hourly Range$20.49-$30.00/hour
Responsibilities- Perform corrective and preventive maintenance on a wide range of manufacturing, packaging, and facility systems and equipment.
- Troubleshoot mechanical, pneumatic, and basic electrical issues using diagnostic tools and site procedures.
- Identify root causes of recurring failures and recommend improvements or parts replacements to enhance reliability.
- Collaborate with peers, supervisors, and engineering personnel to resolve complex technical problems.
- Execute Preventive Maintenance (PM) work orders assigned through the site’s Computerized Maintenance System.
- Accurately document all work performed, parts used, and observations in accordance with cGMP and company procedures.
- Support continuous improvement of PM content, frequency, and quality based on observed performance trends.
- Follow all site policies, SOPs, and regulatory guidelines (cGMP, OSHA, DEA, and FDA requirements).
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, calibrations, and inspections.
- Support investigations, deviations, and corrective/preventive actions (CAPAs) by providing technical input and documentation as needed.
- Utilize the site’s shift note system to record production support activities, equipment status, and follow-up actions for cross-shift alignment.
- Responsible for insuring the validated state of all equipment, systems and facilities and compliance with all applicable cGMP, OSHA, DEC, EPA and local government regulations. Responsible for developing relationships with key vendors for technical support and for assistance in hardware applications.
