Technician, Operations (Operator w/Mechanical Skill)
As a Technician, Operations, you will work on automated and non‑automated packaging equipment in a pharmaceutical manufacturing environment. Your primary focus will be maintaining equipment performance, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring compliance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs).
Position Overview – Essential Functions- Operate packaging equipment in accordance with SOPs and GMPs.
- Prepare equipment for production, including cleaning, inspection, and setup.
- Respond quickly to equipment challenges and perform minor adjustments.
- Document all activities in batch and maintenance records.
- Collaborate with maintenance personnel to minimize line downtime.
- Follow all safety standards and report unsafe conditions.
- Load and move packaging material along the line.
- Inspect rejected material for defects and dispose of waste.
- Use Track Sys data to trend and report equipment performance issues.
- Maintain clear and accurate batch documentation.
- Assist with non‑routine equipment repairs and part retrieval.
- High School diploma or equivalent with 2+ years of maintenance experience on industrial, pharmaceutical, food, or laboratory equipment, or an applicable Associate’s Degree.
- Strong analytical problem‑solving skills and knowledge of GMP operations.
- Proficiency in computer systems and document management.
- Good communication and teamwork abilities.
- Shift availability for a 3rd‑night shift.
- Ability to read controller logic and electrical diagrams.
- Experience with lock‑out/tag‑out (LOTO) procedures.

- Experience with lock‑out/tag‑out (LOTO).
- Current employees or contingent workers who apply through designated channels.
Hybrid model: three on‑site days per week (Monday‑Thursday) with Friday remote. Field‑based, manufacturing‑based, and research‑based positions must attend daily on‑site.
