Registered Nurse (RN), Operating Room (OR)

Schedule:

5x8+ Days (6a-4p) rotating call weekends/rotating holidays"

Job Location Type:
In-person

Room (OR) with 1:1 patient ratio. Our OR specializes in General Surgery, Urology, GYN, Ortho, ENT and Cataract services.

RNs typically work 8-hour shifts, can vary based on cases. Night, weekend and holiday call is required. Must reside within a 30-minute radius for call or stay onsite, on-call room is available.

Scrubs are provided. This role offers an opportunity to work collaboratively in a supportive environment focused on providing quality care and support.

• Accurately performs patient assessments and identifies patient needs
• Identifies and initiates appropriate nursing interventions
• Provides care appropriate to condition and age of the patient
• Performs timely and appropriate documentation relating to medical necessity in the medical record
• Post-Procedure and Recovery Care
• Patient Education and Advocacy

• Current state RN license and nursing degree from an accredited program
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 30 days of hire
• ACLS and PALS required within six months of hire
• TNCC, NRP, ENPC, CEN preferred
• One year of experience preferred
