Wilson Medical Center

Join our team in a 19‑bed Adult Behavioral Health Unit. Staffed with Registered Nurses (RNs), Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs), Mental Health Technicians, Social Work Therapists, Recreational Therapists, and Psychiatric Providers, our unit treats a variety of diagnoses such as Major Depressive Disorder (MDD), Bipolar Disorder, Schizophrenia, Borderline Personality Disorder (BPD), and Substance Use Disorder (SUD). Patients may present with psychosis, suicidal ideation, homicidal ideation, mania, or exacerbations of mental illness.

This role offers an opportunity to work collaboratively in a supportive environment focused on providing quality care and support to individuals experiencing behavioral health crises.

• Accurately performs patient assessments and identifies patient needs
• Identifies and initiates appropriate nursing interventions
• Utilizes crisis intervention and de‑escalation techniques
• Performs timely and appropriate documentation relating to medical necessity in the medical record
• Performs timely and accurate QI assessments

Applicants should have a current state RN license and possess a degree from an accredited nursing school. Additional requirements include:

• Basic Life Support certification required within 30 days of hire.
• ACLS and PALS required within six months of hire.
• One year of experience preferred.
