Join our team in a 19‑bed Adult Behavioral Health Unit staffed with Registered Nurses (RNs), Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs), Mental Health Technicians, Social Work Therapists, Recreational Therapists and Psychiatric Providers. Our unit treats a variety of diagnoses such as Major Depressive Disorder (MDD), Bipolar Disorder, Schizophrenia, Borderline Personality Disorder (BPD) and Substance Use Disorder (SUD). Patients may present with psychosis, suicidal ideation, homicidal ideation, mania, or exacerbations of mental illness.
This role offers an opportunity to work collaboratively in a supportive environment focused on providing quality care and support to individuals experiencing behavioral health crises.
- Accurately perform patient assessments and identify patient needs
- Identify and initiate appropriate nursing interventions
- Utilize crisis intervention and de‑escalation techniques
- Perform timely and appropriate documentation relating to medical necessity in the medical record
- Perform timely and accurate QI assessments

A compassionate nurse with a deep understanding of critical care principles and advanced patient monitoring.
Applicants should have a current state RN license and possess a degree from an accredited nursing school. Additional requirements include:
- Basic Life Support certification required within 30 days of hire
- ACLS and PALS required within six months of hire
- Handle with Care completed within 90 days of hire
- Minimum 3 years of experience providing care in mental health and/or substance abuse; supervisory experience required
