GM and Food (General Merchandise, Closing, Fulfillment, Inbound, Food and Beverage, Starbucks) (T2168) role s description reflects responsibilities to help guests, maintain store operations, and support the General Merchandise and Food Sales team.

• Create a welcoming experience by greeting guests as you complete daily tasks and assist guests with their needs.
• Engage with guests to solve their specific needs and thank them for shopping at Target.
• Receive products, restock shelves, organize the backroom, arrange merchandise, and put up promotional signs for GM areas.
• Operate power equipment if certified and execute processes such as price changes, merchandise setup and maintenance, and inventory accuracy as directed.
• Learn and apply operational procedures related to merchandise setup, stock levels, and sales floor maintenance to support inventory management, store profitability, and product availability.
• Be knowledgeable about store resources, products, and services to solve guest issues and improve their experience.
• Demonstrate ethical conduct, safety, and compliance; work safely and report hazards.
• Support guest services including back-up cashier and digital fulfillment processes (picking/packing orders, delivering pickup orders) while complying with relevant laws.
• Perform other duties as needed based on business needs.

• Ability to work in varying temperatures and other elements while performing duties (e.g., Drive-Up, carryout).
• Endurance to stay mobile for the duration of shifts.
