Our client is seeking a skilled and certified Electro-Mechanical Maintenance Technician with 5-10 years of hands‑on experience. This role requires strong expertise in high‑voltage electrical systems as well as general industrial maintenance. Ideal candidates will be comfortable troubleshooting complex electrical systems while also supporting broader facility maintenance needs in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment.
Job Responsibilities- Perform preventative, predictive, and corrective maintenance on a variety of electrical systems including motors, controls, PLCs, and high‑voltage equipment.
- Troubleshoot and repair electrical and mechanical issues in production lines and packaging equipment.
- Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and electrical diagrams to diagnose and resolve issues.
- Maintain facility systems including lighting, HVAC controls, and industrial power distribution.
- Assist with installation and commissioning of new equipment, ensuring compliance with electrical codes and safety standards.
- Collaborate with production and engineering teams to minimize downtime and improve equipment reliability.
- Document maintenance activities in CMMS and follow company protocols for reporting and safety.
- Support cross‑functional tasks involving plumbing, hydraulics, pneumatics, and mechanical systems as needed.
- Electrical certification required (Journeyman, NCCER, or equivalent); additional industrial certifications a plus.
- 5-10 years of experience in electrical and industrial maintenance within a manufacturing environment.
- Strong working knowledge of NFPA 70E, OSHA standards, and lockout/tagout procedures.
- Proven ability to read technical manuals, schematics, and troubleshoot PLCs, VFDs, and motor control systems.
- Hands‑on experience with both high‑voltage systems and low‑voltage controls.
- Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and respond to emergency repairs when needed.
- Willingness to work regular overtime and be on call based on production needs.
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs and work in hot, cold, or humid conditions typical of an industrial setting.
