Senior Cost Accountant

Compensation: $95-115K (DOE)

Location:
This role is primarily on-site in Wilsonville, Oregon

What you’ll do:

• Steward day-to-day cost and inventory accounting activities, including month-end entries, account reconciliations, and accuracy checks across product and work-order records.
• Maintain and enhance product costing processes, setting and reviewing standard costs, updating program cost files, and supporting the annual cost refresh.
• Track and interpret key manufacturing and margin metrics (e.g., absorption, cost variances, PPV), preparing regular reports and explaining notable shifts or trends.
• Investigate inventory discrepancies and cycle-count issues, identifying underlying causes and championing corrective actions with operations teams.
• Partner with manufacturing and cross-functional groups to provide cost insight, develop cost analyses, and ensure data integrity across systems.
• Support compliance and audit activities, including SOX or regulatory reviews, and help refine internal controls and accounting system processes.
• Optionally guide or mentor cost accounting team members, contributing to skill development and process consistency.

Job Requirements:

• Must be a U.S. Person
• 5 years accounting/finance experience
• Manufacturing and strong inventory/costing background required
• Strong business partnering skills, communication, and problem-solving
