Flat Rate Technician

Job Responsibilities
  • Accurately diagnose and perform repairs on a variety of Nissan and pre‑owned vehicles following manufacturer standards.
  • Complete routine maintenance services, including oil changes, tire rotations, brake work, and inspections.
  • Identify additional service needs through thorough multi‑point inspections.
  • Communicate clearly with Service Advisors regarding repair needs, progress, and completion timelines.
  • Maintain high‑quality workmanship and attention to detail on every repair.
  • Stay current on factory training, technical bulletins, and industry best practices.
  • Keep a clean, safe, and organized workspace to ensure efficiency and compliance with dealership standards.
  • Collaborate with team members and contribute to a positive, high‑performing shop culture.

Flat Rate Technician Qualifications
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience as an automotive technician, preferably at a new car dealership.
  • Ase certifications or equivalent technical training preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of automotive systems, diagnostics, and repair procedures.
  • Ability to read and interpret service manuals, wiring diagrams, and technical bulletins.
  • Excellent problem‑solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Commitment to delivering exceptional service and maintaining dealership standards.

Corporate requirements:
Must be 18 years or older with a valid driver’s license and clean driving record, able to pass a criminal background check and pre‑employment drug screen.
