SCHEDULE:

8am-5pm, Mon-Fri This position is temp to hire. Conversion from temp to regular FTE will be evaluated after 6 months.

Position Objective:

Provide customer service and assistance to customers, outside sales, and operations teams. The position will report to the Branch Manager.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

Not required for this role

Essential Functions:

Initiate outbound calls to customers to discuss products, solutions, and potential value adds Participates in promotional campaigns, effectively conveying special offers, discounts, and promotions to customers

Answer incoming phone calls, disburse messages, and manage email flow Submit sales orders to the appropriate software

Understand the ERP application at a beginner level

Perform customer service functions

Enter direct ship orders and purchase orders into the applicable program

Understands and interprets technical language regarding pump sizing, including GPM, TDH, power requirement voltage, phase, amps Performs other duties as required or assigned, which are reasonably within the scope of the duties in this job classification

Experience

Required:

Experience in a customer service environment that handles both inbound and outbound phone calls

Experience with Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook at a basic level

Experience in agricultural, residential, or industrial pumping

Experience with rotating equipment, liquid pumps, and motors

Flexibility and adaptability: ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Education Required:

High School diploma or equivalent required1 to 2 years of previous experience in inside sales or customer service roles

Physical Requirements:

Ability to remain at a stationary position 50% of the time Ability to occasionally lift office products and supplies weighing up to 20 pounds

Ability to work overtime

Work Environment:

The duties of the job are primarily performed in an office environment

There is some exposure to noise in the work environment, which is usually moderate

This position is not eligible for telework
