* SCHEDULE:

** 8am-5pm, Mon-Fri This position is temp to hire. Conversion from temp to regular FTE will be evaluated after 6 months.
** Position Objective:
** Provide customer service and assistance to customers, outside sales, and operations teams. The position will report to the Branch Manager.

* Essential Functions:

*
* * Initiate outbound calls to customers to discuss products, solutions, and potential value adds
* Participates in promotional campaigns, effectively conveying special offers, discounts, and promotions to customers
* Answer incoming phone calls, disburse messages, and manage email flow
* Submit sales orders to the appropriate software
* Understand the ERP application at a beginner level
* Perform customer service functions
* Enter direct ship orders and purchase orders into the applicable program
* Understands and interprets technical language regarding pump sizing, including GPM, TDH, power requirement voltage, phase, amps
* Performs other duties as required or assigned, which are reasonably within the scope of the duties in this job classification
** Experience

Required:

* * Experience in a customer service environment that handles both inbound and outbound phone calls
* Experience with Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook at a basic level
* Experience in agricultural, residential, or industrial pumping
* Experience with rotating equipment, liquid pumps, and motors

* Education Required:

*** High School diploma or equivalent required
* 1 to 2 years of previous experience in inside sales or customer service roles
*
* Physical Requirements:

*** Ability to remain at a stationary position 50% of the time
* Ability to occasionally lift office products and supplies weighing up to 20 pounds
* Ability to work overtime
** Work Environment:
*** The duties of the job are primarily performed in an office environment
* There is some exposure to noise in the work environment, which is usually moderate
* This position is not eligible for telework
