Overview

Oregon Tech is accepting applications for Humanities Undergraduate Adjunct Instructors in the Humanities and Social Sciences Department. This pool will be accessed when an opening or need arises for part-time adjunct teaching positions in humanities courses (ethics, humanities, literature, philosophy). Applications may be invited to serve as instructors for courses within the department.

This pool is for possible part-time adjunct teaching positions. Qualified applicants may be invited to teach courses within the department, including humanities offerings such as ethics, literature, philosophy, and other humanities-related courses. Teaching modalities may include online, on-campus, hybrid, clinic or lab formats, or other formats responsive to state and local requirements.

Required

• Master’s Degree or higher in discipline or equivalent
• Experience teaching

Preferred

• Experience using Canvas or a similar Learning Management System (e.g., Blackboard)
• Experience using virtual meeting and collaboration tools for teaching (e.g., Zoom, Skype, Microsoft Teams)

Location:

primary campus locations include Klamath Falls, OR, Wilsonville, OR and online. Teaching may be conducted remotely/online.

Teaching Modality:
Appointments may include online, on-campus, hybrid, or related formats.
