Position: Principal Project Engineer
Location: Wilsonville, OR

Key Responsibilities- Lead project technical execution and maintain performance metrics for decision making and continuous improvement.
- Manage project scope (requirements and change requests) ensuring it meets agreed commitments.
- Generate and maintain project schedules with understood dependencies, deliveries, and critical path.
- Utilize Earned Value (EV) methods for managing project budget and schedule.
- Ensure project meets quality expectations.
- Identify risks and opportunities and resolve them through proactive ownership.
- Prepare well‑crafted presentations reporting project status to leadership.
- Develop engineering estimates and proposals for potential projects to gain organizational buy‑in.
- Degree in STEM (or equivalent) with minimum 8 years relevant experience; or an advanced degree with 5 years experience; or 12 years experience without degree.
- 7+ years of Electrical, Mechanical, Software, or Systems engineering experience.
- 7+ years of project management experience, including baseline control, earned value, and risk management.
- Mastery of Agile process and principles.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Project and Jira.
- Strong problem‑solving skills and ability to propose alternate solutions.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate cross‑functionally.
- Detail oriented and capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
- Experience using analytical skills to identify and resolve issues and mitigate risks.
- Proven ability to facilitate difficult conversations and communicate early with individuals at all levels.
