Behavior Health Specialist 2, Qualified Mental Health Professional (Wilsonville) – Part‑time / Job Share
Location: Coffee Creek Correctional Facility, Wilsonville, Oregon
Position Type: Part‑time (20 hrs per week) – shared; shift Wednesday 7 am‑5:30 pm with half‑hour lunch.
Pay Range: $7,385 – $9,795 (annual, base). Shared salary follows full‑time range.
About the Job – Your RoleThis role identifies mentally ill or developmentally disabled adult inmates, coordinates mental status exams, suicide assessments, develops treatment and risk management plans, and provides crisis services.
Responsibilities- Initial identification and assessment of eligible inmates.
- Conduct suicide prevention and crisis intervention.
- Provide case management and treatment services.
- Maintain accurate records and release planning.
- Consult and train staff; facilitate group sessions.
- Graduate degree in psychology, social work, behavioral health science, or related field; OR
- Current Qualified Mental Health Professional (QMHP) certification; OR
- Bachelor’s degree in nursing AND licensed in Oregon; OR
- Bachelor’s degree in occupational therapy AND licensed in Oregon; OR
- Qualified Mental Health Intern per state statutes.
- Assessment and diagnosis
- Case conceptualization and treatment planning
- Crisis intervention and suicide assessment
- Behavior management and case management
- Relationship building with clients
- Submit dates and duties for all relevant positions; include education and work experience meeting minimum qualifications.
