As an Assembler
, you will work under general supervision to build complex opto-mechanical and electro-optical subsystems
. This hands-on role includes assembly, troubleshooting, and testing procedures for advanced sensing products used in high-stakes applications such as navigation, surveillance, and threat detection
.
- Interpret engineering drawings, manuals, and instructions to perform assembly tasks.
- Assemble, install, troubleshoot, and repair electronic and mechanical components
. - Perform precise bonding and curing procedures.
- Operate and monitor test equipment and instrumentation
. - Inspect finished components and ensure all work meets quality standards.
- Execute detailed test and verification procedures using automated systems.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
- Complete other related tasks as assigned.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 1–2 years of hands-on experience in a related technical or manufacturing field.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs for short durations.
- Demonstrated ability to learn on the job and adapt quickly.
- Associate’s degree (A.S.) in a related technical field.
- Prior experience in PCB assembly or electronics manufacturing.
- Meticulous attention to detail in assembly and testing tasks.
- Familiarity with electronic components
, tools, and test equipment. - Ability to follow detailed work instructions and engineering documentation.
- Basic troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Experience with bonding, curing, and optical component handling.
- Understanding of electro-optical and opto-mechanical systems.
- Strong work ethic and ability to work independently or in teams.
- Flexibility in adapting to changing priorities and product lines.
