Dedicated Department Support Coordinator (DSC) for the New Product Introduction (NPI) team in Wilsonville, OR. This role supports and coordinates department activities, ensuring smooth operations and effective communication throughout the NPI transition process.
What You Will Do- Facilitate the flow of development builds and identify potential problems, ensuring that personnel, equipment, and materials are available as needed.
- Prepare and maintain reports on NPI work in progress (WIP) including line of balance (LOB).
- Manage and track status of material availability to ensure a controlled flow of approved materials timed to meet build requirements.
- Collect, track, and report manufacturing improvement opportunities including design and producibility related ones to NPI engineering and program management.
- Coordinate cross‑functional activities with quality, manufacturing, purchasing, design, inventory control, and other groups.
- Work closely with Operation Program Managers (OPM) and NPI engineers to ensure manufacturing readiness prior to product release to production.
- Deep understanding of RTX Lifecycle Program Management (RLPM), NPI, and CORE processes.
- Hands‑on experience collaborating with various departments/plants within Operations and Manufacturing.
- Practical experience supporting cross‑functional teams and exposure to Test and Design Engineering processes.
- Project and product management experience by leading small development programs.
- University degree or 6 years of relevant experience, or 2 years of experience with a degree.
- 2 years of administrative support experience.
- Experience in a production environment.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint).
- SAP proficiency.
- Advanced functions in Microsoft Office 365 Suite.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Detail‑oriented with strong sense of responsibility.
- Strong problem‑solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to learn and adapt in a fast‑paced, dynamic environment.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
