Base Pay Range$22.00/hr - $25.00/hr
Summary: Assists in maintaining a clean and organized work environment, maintenance of equipment, material handling and assembly of product. The machine shop helper must be able to explain the respective role within the QMS and how their role contributes to quality. The machine shop helper shall also be aware of ethical behavior and conduct themselves accordingly to Karman policies and procedure.

- Maintain and Realize AS 9100 procedures and continuous improvement efforts.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Work with Supervisor to support manufacturing personnel.
- Perform basic preventative maintenance on shop equipment.
- Use the necessary equipment to support production requirements.
- Notify Supervisor of required tools and or equipment needed.
- Manufacture, machine, and assemble to work instructions and or blue print requirements.
- Any other duties as assigned.
- High school graduate or equivalent work experience.
- Entry level position.
- Must be detail oriented, extremely organized, have excellent communication skills and be able to interact well with all levels of Management.
- Experience in manufacturing or machine shop is preferred.
- To conform to U.S. Government export regulations, applicant must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. lawful permanent resident (green card holder), Refugee under 8 U.S.C. 1157, Asylee under 8 U.S.C. 1158, or be eligible to obtain the required authorizations from the U.S. Department of State. Travel Requirements: No travel required for this position.
