$26.91/hr - $30.00/hr

As a Test Technician, you will be involved in the following:

• Perform the set‑up, calibration, testing and troubleshooting of laser modules, electronic circuits, and mechanical assemblies.
• Work with free‑space optical components – test and troubleshoot assemblies and/or final systems.
• May complete rework on assemblies and/or systems as a result of testing.
• Prepare technical reports summarizing findings and recommending solutions to technical problems.
• Operate computer systems for testing of product and report writing.
• Use lasers, monochromators, optics, DMM/DVMs, arbitrary waveform generators, power supplies, oscilloscopes, Lab View software, current sources, laser beam analyzers, optical power meters, and other proprietary tools to perform tests and calibrations.
• Support Lean and Continuous Improvement initiatives.
• Contribute to control of inventory and work order management.

• Manufacturing and/or cleanroom workstation
• Day shift with flexible start schedule

• Standing and/or sitting workstation
• Lifting 5-10 pounds regularly

• PPE including ESD smock, ESD foot‑grounding straps, and safety glasses

Depending on location, this position may be responsible for the execution and maintenance of the ISO 9000, 9001, 14001 and/or other applicable standards that may apply to the relevant roles and responsibilities within the Quality Management System and Environmental Management System.
