Senior Choices NW, a division of Modern Insurance Marketing and an Integrity partner headquartered in Wilsonville, Oregon, has been assisting clients with their Medicare and healthcare options for over twenty years. Our personal approach and local presence have contributed to our clients feeling like extended family.

As an inside insurance sales agent, you will work primarily with existing Medicare clients, to provide excellent customer service by answering questions and assist with issues surrounding benefits, network, claims and enrolling in plans that best fit their needs.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Provide knowledgeable guidance with client’s Medicare and individual healthcare coverage.
  • Research and present plan options for new and existing clients.
  • Assist clients enrolling in plans in-person or via telephone or internet.
  • Ensure client records are maintained within client management database.
  • Inbound call support for office.

Primary Skills & Requirements:

  • Active Oregon resident Health insurance license required.
  • Previous experience with health insurance sales, Medicare experience preferred.
  • Familiarity with Medicare, health insurance carriers and plans in OR & WA.
  • Detail-oriented with effective time management.
  • Proficient in Microsoft programs.
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment during enrollment seasons.
  • Ability to work independently and take initiative with outreach to clients to improve retention and referrals.
  • Provide excellent customer service with patience and compassion.
  • Adherence to privacy practices, HIPAA, and Center for Medicare & Medicaid guidelines.

Preferred:

  • Previous experience with health insurance sales, Medicare experience preferred.
