Warehouse Worker

Position

Purpose:

The primary function of the Warehouse Worker is to be responsible for warehouse maintenance, shipping and receiving, product storage, inventory organization, and delivery preparation activities while supporting safe and efficient warehouse operations.

• Maintain health and safety compliance in accordance with company policies and procedures.
• Prepare orders by processing requests, pulling accurate materials, and placing them in the appropriate area for customer pickup or delivery.
• Load and unload trucks safely and efficiently.
• Maintain inventory controls by minimizing material damage and ensuring order accuracy.
• Organize the warehouse and manage bin locations to support efficient operations.
• Establish, maintain, and promote high standards of customer service.
• Ensure equipment is maintained and operated according to company standards.
• Operate a forklift and other warehouse equipment as authorized and trained.
• Assist with product storage, material handling, and delivery setup activities.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment.
• Perform other warehouse duties as assigned.
• Reports to the department manager. No direct reports.

• Ability to safely load, unload, move, and stock materials.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate information accurately.
• Ability to follow safety procedures and work instructions.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Ability to operate or learn to operate basic warehouse equipment.

• Forklift experience preferred.
• Experience in construction, building materials, delivery, or a related industry preferred.
• Familiarity with material handling and inventory storage practices preferred.

• High School Diploma or GED.

• High School Diploma preferred.

• 0-1 years of experience in warehouse, material handling, delivery, construction, or a related field.

• None required.

• Inventory Management:
  Accurately receives, stores, tracks, and moves inventory according to established processes.
• Order Fulfillment:
  Efficiently picks, loads, and prepares orders while meeting quality and productivity standards.

  Consistently meets or exceeds established work goals and performance expectations.
• Material Handling:
  Safely and efficiently moves, loads, unloads, and organizes materials within the warehouse.
• Time Management:
  Prioritizes tasks and manages time efficiently to meet deadlines.
• Teamwork:
  Collaborates effectively with coworkers to achieve operational goals.
• Communication:
  Shares information clearly and listens effectively to instructions and feedback.

• On-site.
• Must be available to work on weekends when needed.
