Building Blocks Early Learning Center is hiring educators in Wilton, CT. The base pay range is $16.70/hr – $24.36/hr; final compensation is based on skills, experience, and qualifications.

Salary Ranges
  • Lead Teacher Qualified: $18.54 – $24.36 per hour
  • Assistant Candidates: $16.70 – $22.09 per hour

Hiring Process

We will contact you to schedule a phone interview. Strong candidates are invited for an in‑person interview at the school and will hear back within 48 hours after the interview.

Schedule

This location operates year-round, Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM – 6:00 PM (operating hours may change). The teacher role requires Monday through Friday from 12:00 pm – 6:00 pm.

Responsibilities
  • Manage classroom needs to support children’s well‑being.
  • Nurture a love of learning through a child‑centered approach with social‑emotional, STEAM, and nature‑based activities.
  • Maintain regular communication with families to foster collaborative growth.
Qualifications
  • Pass required state and company background checks.
  • High school diploma, GED, or enrollment in classes.
  • For roles requiring EEC certification, submit completed certification for review.
  • Adhere to all company policies and EEC regulations.
  • Ability to stand, move, run, and play for most of the day.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds multiple times a day.
