Advanced Radiology is one of the largest independent radiology practices in the tri-state area with the most experienced radiologists. We are looking for a General Radiology Technologist to join our team. Pay range depends on experience and qualifications.

Mon-Fri 8:30-5pm with rotating Saturday's 8-12noon.

The General Radiologic & Mammography Technologist performs diagnostic radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures; reviews all necessary documentation related to the procedures and performs related clinical and administrative duties.

• Demonstrated interest in meeting patient needs and assuring patient satisfaction.
• Operating knowledge of radiographic equipment.
• Perform all diagnostic radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures within assigned areas including Mammography.
• Review all necessary documentation to perform diagnostic procedures.
• Perform preventative visual and manual inspections for each radiographic room/equipment assigned ensuring appropriate maintenance and cleanliness.
• Perform related clinical and clerical duties associated with the patient procedure.
• Assist in managing the radiographic procedures through coordination of resources to facilitate optimal efficiency and ensure procedures performed are in accordance with policies and procedures.
• Perform warm up calibration procedures necessary to ready the equipment for patient imaging.
• Assist in procurement of all necessary supplies.
• Inform supervisor of any equipment needing repair to insure prompt service.
• Contribute to a positive climate and open communication for a team approach.
• Maintain certification and licensure by attending continuing education classes.

College degree preferred. RRT (RT)(R)(M) and CT State License required.
