Advanced Radiology is one of the largest independent radiology practices in the tri-state area with the most experienced radiologists. We look for team members who want to grow and be professionally challenged, while enjoying a rewarding, caring, and friendly environment. We are looking for a Per Diem Mammo Techto join our team. The pay range for this role will depend on experience and qualifications.
The Mammography Technologist performs screening mammography exams; reviews all necessary documentation related to the procedures and performs related clinical and administrative duties.
EssentialJob Duties and Responsibilities
- Demonstrated interest in meeting patient needs and assuring patient satisfaction.
- Operating knowledge of mammographic equipment.
- Performs all screening mammograms within assigned area.
- Reviews all necessary documentation to perform procedures.
- Performs preventative visual and manual inspections for each equipment assigned ensuring appropriate maintenance and cleanliness.
- Performs QC as required by the MQSA.
- Performs related clinical and clerical duties associated with the patient procedure.
- Assures that the procedures performed are in accordance with policies and procedures.
- Performs warm up calibration procedures necessary to ready the equipment for patient imaging.
- Contributes to a positive climate and open communication for a team approach.

- ASRT (RT)(R)(M) and CT State License required
