CRNA Quality Improvement Specialist – Wilton, CT

Responsibilities- Clinical Care – Implement accurate, safe, patient‑centric anesthetic care in collaboration with anesthesiologists, surgeons and other physicians.
- Professional Skill – Understand physiologic implications and anesthetic considerations, monitor vital signs, capnography, and pulse oximetry during anesthesia according to ASA guidelines.
- Information Management – Ensure appropriate documentation within hospital and regulatory requirements, protecting information from unauthorized access or disclosure.
- Quality Management – Demonstrate a high standard of moral and ethical behavior, professionalism, compassion and commitment to patient care.
- Professional Development – Engage in projects that maintain and advance professional competency.
- Schedule Requirements – Availability to work off‑shifts, weekends, holidays, respond to emergency calls and provide anesthesia services within the hospital setting.
- Education – Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist; completion of an accredited nurse anesthesia training program;
State of Connecticut RN and APRN license. - Experience – Preferred clinical CRNA experience (not required); appointment to affiliated medical staff and credentialing through the medical staff process.
- Licensure – AANA Certification;
State of CT RN and APRN license; ACLS; DEA registration; CT Controlled Substance registration. - Special Skills – Sharp concentration, calm under stress, effective communication with surgical team and patients, adaptability, and immediate response to anesthetic patient management.
- Physical Demand – Ability to stand for long periods, lift 25 lb, operate lead protection during fluoroscopy/X‑ray cases, and maintain situational awareness and communication.
