This position is well‑suited for candidates with strong problem‑solving abilities, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to providing reliable, high‑quality maintenance services.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
  • Perform scheduled preventive maintenance on facility systems following written procedures.
  • Inspect, measure wear, replace belts, hoses, fluids, filters, and evaluate performance metrics such as pressures, speeds, vibration, and temperature.
  • Analyze PM findings and recommend updates or improvements to maintenance procedures.
  • Document all PM and work‑order activities using the CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System).
  • Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical equipment.
  • Complete general building repairs: walls, ceilings, doors, flooring, painting, fixtures.
  • Repair plumbing systems: leaks, blockages, sinks, piping, valves, drains.
  • Maintain electrical distribution systems, lighting, controls, and related components.
  • Replace lighting fixtures, ceiling tiles, grid components.
  • Conduct routine facility rounds, documenting key operating metrics.
  • Communicate effectively with the site lead and customers regarding work requests.
  • Diagnose electrical components: transformers, motors, motor starters, MC4 panels/circuits, VFDs, lighting systems.
  • Maintain building and exterior lighting systems: parking lot, emergency/exit lights, outlets, photoelectric controls, energy‑management components.
  • Perform maintenance and repairs on dock equipment: overhead doors, dock levelers, locks, seals.
  • Maintain a clean, safe work environment and follow all safety policies.
Required Skills & Education
  • 5–7 years of mechanical experience (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, mechanical systems) or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 3–5 years of facility maintenance experience in an industrial, commercial, or institutional environment.
  • Valid driver’s license.
  • Ability to read, interpret, and follow maintenance instructions, technical documentation, and safety procedures.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills for reporting, documentation, and customer interaction.
  • Proven ability to diagnose issues, recommend solutions, and work independently or as part of a team.
