Academics Ltd are seeking a knowledgeable and enthusiastic Computer Science Teacher to join a progressive secondary school in Swindon.
Responsibilities as a Computer Science Teacher
Plan and deliver engaging Computer Science lessons across KS3 and KS4 (KS5 desirable)
Teach programming, computational thinking, and core theoretical concepts
Prepare students for GCSE and/or A-Level Computer Science examinations
Assess student progress and provide clear, constructive feedback
Support extracurricular clubs such as coding or robotics (desirable)
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
Strong subject knowledge in Computer Science
Experience teaching GCSE Computer Science (A-Level desirable)
Confidence teaching programming languages such as Python (desirable)
Excellent classroom management and organisational skills
A passion for digital innovation and technology
