This is a key leadership role focused on driving high-quality inclusive provision across adult and apprenticeship programmes. You’ll play a central role in shaping strategy, supporting teams and ensuring learners with SEND receive the support they need to achieve and progress.
What you’ll do:
• Lead and support inclusive learning across adult and apprenticeship provision
• Drive high-quality teaching, learning and assessment for learners with SEND
• Support curriculum teams to embed inclusive practice and meet learner needs
• Monitor performance, progress and outcomes, driving continuous improvement
• Contribute to the development of SEND and inclusion strategy across the College
• Work collaboratively with internal teams and external stakeholders
• Support compliance with SEND legislation, funding and regulatory requirements
• Line manage and develop staff, supporting high performance and professional growth
What we’re looking for:
• Experience in SEND, inclusion or additional learning support within FE or a similar setting
• Experience of leadership or management within education or support services
• Strong understanding of SEND legislation and inclusive practice
• Ability to drive quality improvement and positive learner outcomes
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• A collaborative and proactive approach to leadership
• A teaching qualification (or willingness to work towards one)
