We are looking for a dedicated, empathetic and resilient Behaviour Mentor to a welcoming school located in Wilshire
- Rowde to provide tailored support for children with Special Educational Needs (SEN). This rewarding Behaviour Mentor role focuses on promoting positive behaviour, emotional wellbeing and engagement in learning by building trusting relationships and implementing proactive child centred strategies.

As a Behaviour Mentor, you will work closely with teachers to help children understand and manage their emotions, develop positive relationships and overcome barriers to learning. Your support will enable the children to feel safe, valued and confident, allowing them to thrive academically and socially.

The Role

As a Behaviour Mentor you will:

• Build positive, trusting relationships that promote confidence, self-esteem and emotional wellbeing
• Provide consistent one-to-one support throughout the school day
• Implement personalised behaviour support plans and positive behaviour strategies
• Support the child to develop emotional regulation, resilience and appropriate social skills
• Identify potential triggers and use proactive strategies to prevent escalation
