Service Technician/Auto Mechanic Main Dealer
- Salary: £30,000 - £40,000 basic per annum (tailored directly to your experience), plus lucrative performance bonus scheme bringing realistic OTE up to £45,000
- Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM (100% WEEKEND FREEDOM with strictly zero weekend shifts required!)

Role OverviewSeeking an experienced Vehicle Technician / Car Mechanic to join our busy, friendly main dealer team in Trowbridge. Moving into a high-spec, modern dealership environment, you will carry out routine servicing, complex mechanical repairs, diagnostic fault-finding using up-to-date brand software, and thorough vehicle preparation to strict manufacturer standards.
Requirements- NVQ Level 2 in Light Vehicle Maintenance & Repair (or City & Guilds / time-served equivalent) with a minimum of 2 years hands‑on experience in a busy workshop
- Solid foundational knowledge of vehicle diagnostics, routine maintenance, and mechanical repair
- Valid DVSA MOT Smart Card is desirable (or an interest in receiving full paid MOT training)
- Full UK driving licence & own hand tools
- Base: Trowbridge, Wiltshire (Free secure on-site staff parking)
- Road Links: Strategic position directly served by key arterial routes including the A361, A350, and A36 corridors, offering fast daily commutes across Wiltshire and Somerset
- Public Transport: Excellent connections via Trowbridge mainline railway station alongside regular regional bus services
