Paint Sprayer

Our client, a leading independent used van and commercial vehicle retailer based in Swindon, Wiltshire, is seeking an experienced Paint Sprayer to join their modern bodyshop team. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled professional looking to further their career within a reputable organisation. The Paint Sprayer role offers a competitive salary of between £40,000 and £50,000 per annum, depending on experience, alongside a comprehensive benefits package.

The working hours are from 8:00am to 6:00pm, Monday to Friday, with Saturdays from 8:00am to 1:30pm on a rota basis, paid as overtime.

• Prepare vehicles for painting, ensuring all surfaces are ready to accept paintwork
• Mask vehicles accurately prior to applying paint
• Carry out minor damage repairs and refinishing work
• Polish vehicles to remove defects in paintwork
• Mix paints to accurately match vehicle colours
• Apply paint products professionally and to a consistent high standard
• Work efficiently to meet production deadlines
• Ensure health and safety regulations are followed at all times

• Proven experience as a Paint Sprayer
• Current or recent relevant work within a bodyshop environment
• IMI/NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in vehicle paint spraying is desirable but not essential if the individual has strong on-the-job experience
• Excellent attention to detail and team collaboration skills
• Good communication skills
• Ability to multitask and work efficiently under pressure
• A valid UK driving licence with minimal points
