Shift Pattern: 4 On, 4 Off

Hours:

20:30 – 06:00 Breaks:
Two 30-minute breaks per shift — one paid and one unpaid.
Transport:
Own transport required
About the Role
We are looking for reliable, hardworking and detail-oriented Hygiene Operatives to join a leading UK free-range and organic egg business at its innovative Egg Innovation Centre.
As a Hygiene Operative, you will play an important role in maintaining a clean, safe and hygienic working environment, helping to ensure that machinery and factory areas meet the highest standards of food safety and hygiene.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who takes pride in their work, enjoys being part of a team and is looking for a stable role with a consistent 4 On, 4 Off shift pattern.
Your Responsibilities
 
* Carry out thorough daily cleaning of machinery, equipment and factory areas.
 
* Maintain excellent standards of hygiene in line with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
 
* Use cleaning chemicals safely and correctly in accordance with COSHH regulations.
 
* Follow all company hygiene, food safety and quality procedures.
 
* Wear and correctly use all required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
 
* Maintain a high level of cleanliness and attention to detail at all times.
 
* Work as part of a supportive team to achieve daily hygiene targets.
 
* Follow all health and safety procedures and help maintain a safe workplace for yourself and your colleagues.

Essential Experience
 
* Previous experience in hygiene, industrial cleaning or a similar environment is essential.
 
* Experience working in a food production or manufacturing environment is desirable.
 
* Previous warehouse experience is advantageous but not essential.
 
* Knowledge of COSHH, GMP or food hygiene standards is an advantage.
