Warehouse Operative; Heavy Lifting

SUNDAY - THURSDAY 08:00-16:.09 PER HOUR

We are seeking a dedicated Warehouse Worker to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will play a vital role in the efficient operation of our warehouse, ensuring the safe handling and management of materials. Duties

• Operate forklifts and other warehouse machinery safely and efficiently
• Handle materials through picking, packing, loading, and unloading processes
• Assist with shipping and receiving activities, ensuring accurate documentation and timely dispatch
• Stock shelves and organise inventory in accordance with company standards
• Conduct basic maintenance and mechanical checks on equipment
• Support construction-related tasks as needed for warehouse setup or modifications
• Ensure all materials handling complies with health and safety regulations
• Maintain a clean, organised, and safe working environment at all times

Qualifications

• Proven experience in warehouse operations or logistics environments
• Proficiency with forklift operation and mechanical knowledge is highly desirable
• Strong physical fitness with the ability to perform heavy lifting regularly
• Experience in stock management, shipping & receiving, and materials handling
• Good organisational skills with attention to detail
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a fast-paced setting
• Basic understanding of construction or related manual tasks is a plus
