Workshop Controller Required in Wimbledon for Car Dealership

Our client, a well-established and reputable car dealership in Wimbledon, South West London, is seeking a skilled Workshop Controller to join their busy team. - Pay
: £36 – £38k Basic DOE + Bonuses + Overtime - Hours
: 8am – 6pm Monday – Friday with Saturdays on a rota

Key duties of the Workshop Controller include:
- Overseeing daily workshop operations to ensure efficiency and productivity
- Managing and motivating technicians to meet targets and maintain high service standards
- Tracking vehicle progress and coordinating with Service Reception to keep customers informed
- Ensuring operational procedures are followed to maximise workshop profitability
- Supporting team development through coaching and support
- Maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction through professional communication and service
Requirements for the Workshop Controller include:
- Previous experience as a Workshop Controller or in a similar supervisory role within the automotive industry
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Technical background or experience in service advisory is beneficial
- Ability to motivate team members and support their professional development
- Excellent organisational skills and a customer-focused approach
- Minimum of 2 years experience in a similar role
- Demonstration of a proactive attitude and commitment to high standards
