Special Education Teacher

Overview

We are currently recruiting a dedicated and resilient Secondary SEMH Teacher to join a supportive specialist provision in Raynes Park on a full-time basis
.

This role is ideal for an experienced teacher or a confident practitioner who is passionate about supporting young people with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs
, helping them re-engage with learning and achieve positive outcomes.

• Deliver engaging and structured lessons to secondary-aged pupils
• Support students with SEMH needs, challenging behaviour, and emotional regulation
• Create a calm, consistent, and nurturing learning environment
• Work closely with support staff, SENCOs, and external professionals
• Implement behaviour support strategies and individual learning plan

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS/QTLS) preferred
• Experience working with SEMH, SEND, or challenging behaviour
• Strong behaviour management and relationship-building skills
