We're working with a friendly and supportive Primary School in Wimbledon seeking a motivated Apprentice Teaching Assistant to join their team from September 2026. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain valuable classroom experience across EYFS, KS1 or KS2 while completing a fully funded Level 3 Teaching Assistant Apprenticeship.

Your responsibilitiesAs an Apprentice Teaching Assistant, you will:
Support pupils on a 1:1 basis and in small intervention groups
Assist with phonics, reading, writing and maths activities
Help teachers prepare engaging lessons and classroom resources
Promote positive behaviour and encourage pupil engagement
Support children's social, emotional and academic development
Build positive relationships with pupils, staff and parents

RequirementsCommitment to completing an 11-month apprenticeship
GCSE English and Maths at Grade 4/C or above preferred
Eligible to undertake a government-funded apprenticeship
Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one - full support provided)
