We are recruiting for an Early Years Teacher to join a well-established Montessori school in Wimbledon, London Borough of Merton.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Level 3 Early Years professional who is passionate about Montessori education and creating engaging learning experiences that encourage children's independence, confidence, and curiosity. Montessori training would be highly desirable, although candidates with strong Early Years experience and a genuine interest in the approach are encouraged to apply.
You will be:- Providing high-quality Early Years education within an authentic Montessori environment
- Planning and delivering engaging learning experiences that support children's individual development
- Encouraging independence, curiosity, confidence, and a love of learning
- Supporting children's progress through observations and assessments
- Creating a calm, purposeful, and stimulating classroom environment
- Building positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues
- Promoting safeguarding, health and safety, and maintaining high standards of care
- Working collaboratively with the wider team to support the smooth running of the setting
- Contributing to a positive and nurturing learning environment
The successful candidate will have a minimum Level 3 Early Years qualification and previous experience working with young children. Montessori training or experience is highly desirable, alongside a strong understanding of child development, EYFS, and child-centred practice. Excellent communication, organisation, and teamwork skills are essential.
