At Hall School Wimbledon, we are seeking to appoint an exceptional Head of Drama and Head of Key Stage
3. This is an exciting opportunity for an ambitious, knowledgeable and inspiring teacher to lead Drama across the secondary phase while overseeing the pastoral care, personal development and progress of KS3 students.

Drama makes an important contribution to students’ creativity, confidence, communication and understanding of others. We are looking for a leader who will develop an ambitious curriculum and a vibrant programme of performances, including whole-school productions, while ensuring that every student has the opportunity to participate and succeed.

The successful candidate will also lead our KS3 Form Tutors, build effective partnerships with families and help students develop the habits, relationships and independence needed to flourish s role would suit an experienced middle leader or an outstanding teacher ready to take on combined subject and pastoral leadership.

• Championing excellence in Drama, inspiring outstanding teaching, learning and student achievement.
• Shaping and delivering an ambitious, inclusive and engaging
  
  Drama curriculum that nurtures creativity and talent.
• Planning and leading whole-school productions, performances and enrichment opportunities that bring the school community together.
• Leading on pastoral care, behaviour, attendance and personal development for students in Years 7-9, helping every student thrive.
• Supporting and developingKS3 Form Tutors, while delivering inspiring and impactful weekly assemblies.
• Guiding students through key stages of their educational journey, including transition support andGCSE options advice.
• Coaching and developing colleagues, sharing best practice and making a meaningful contribution to whole-school improvement.

• Is an outstanding classroom practitioner with high expectations and a commitment to helping every student achieve their potential.
• Can lead memorable productions and create opportunities for students of all interests, backgrounds and abilities to shine.
• Understands the importance of supporting students' wellbeing, behaviour and academic success, helping them thrive both in and beyond the classroom.
• Builds strong, positive relationships with students, families and colleagues through clear communication and a supportive approach.
• QTS or equivalent is required
