Hourly Rate: c.£20 per hour

Contract Type: 2x Temporary Roles (1x Maternity Cover, 1x Project Cover)

About the Role:

We are seeking two experienced Repairs and Maintenance Support Officers to join our client’s team in Southwest London. One role is to cover a maternity leave, and the other is to support a specific project. Both positions are crucial in ensuring the smooth operation of repairs and maintenance services for residential properties.

Key Responsibilities:

* Coordinate and schedule repairs and maintenance works, liaising with contractors, tenants, and internal teams.

* Monitor progress of repairs, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations and service level agreements.

* Maintain accurate records of repairs, inspections, and maintenance activities using relevant systems.

* Provide excellent customer service, addressing queries and resolving issues promptly.

* Assist in the preparation of reports and documentation for audits or management reviews.

* Support the delivery of specific projects as required (for the project cover role).

Skills and Experience:

* Proven experience in a similar repairs, maintenance, or housing support role.

* Strong organisational and administrative skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.

* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a customer-focused approach.

* Proficiency in using maintenance management software or databases.

* Knowledge of health and safety regulations related to property maintenance.

* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Desirable:

* Experience working in social housing or local authority environments.

* Familiarity with contract management and procurement processes.
