Logistics Controller

Location: Wimbledon, GB (On‑Site)

Responsibilities
  • Apply rules and comply with company Health, Safety and Environmental policies.
  • Know and follow all safety, environmental and emergency procedures.
  • Respect safety conditions when handling goods, trolleys and other equipment.
  • Participate actively in safety activities, including reporting near misses and attending meetings.
  • Notify Warehouse Management of any safety, site‑keeping or maintenance issues identified during inspection.
  • Execute information‑system updates and ERP transactions before each physical movement using IT tools.
  • Use ERP transactions to align physical and system flows and understand their interactions.
  • Detect, treat anomalies and report those that cannot be resolved to the manager.
  • Prioritise activities according to emergencies, such as managing missing parts.
  • Ensure preservation of materials during all processes.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of processes.
  • Apply and respect appropriate methodologies and processes.
Key Process Activities Inbound Flows
  • Perform goods receipt in real time using the ERP system and store materials correctly (put away).
Storage
  • Apply safe storage conditions (max. weight capacity) and EHS rules for hazardous materials.
  • Update the ERP in real time for each material movement using mobile devices.
  • Proceed to scrap after receiving management authorisation.
Inventory
  • Respect and follow inventory counting procedures (blind count, stock reconciliation and delegation of authority).
Picking & Line Feeding
  • Perform picking and kitting activities on time in ERP (picking list, labels) and prepare material for the production line at the expected level.
  • Respect the footprint.
Packing & Shipping
  • Treat shipment requests on time, realizing packing and shipping activities at the required quality level.
  • Manage logistic NCR according to the established process.
  • Track NCR physically and in the system (segregated or jail area, blocked stock).
  • Create, treat and follow the logistics NCR based on inputs from teams.
  • Work closely with quality and material planning teams to solve and close NCR within a reasonable delay.
Handling
  • Respect handling and storage rules in force and hold required qualifications and driving licence.
Qualifications

Mandatory

  • Experience of forklift driving (for forklift drivers only).
  • Forklift driving licence (for forklift drivers only).
  • Team spirit & flexibility.
  • Desire to perform well.
  • Reliable and well organised.
  • Familiar with IT environment.
  • An agile, inclusive and responsible attitude.

Desirable

  • Knowledge of ERP SAP basics.
  • Lean manufacturing, Kaizen, 5S experience.
