Float Legal Secretary – Wimborne (Full Time, Permanent)

An established legal practice in Wimborne is seeking a Float Legal Secretary to provide administrative and secretarial support across multiple practice areas.

This is a varied role supporting fee earners, covering reception when required, and assisting colleagues across the office.

• Providing administrative and secretarial support to fee earners
• Audio and digital dictation, document production and correspondence
• Managing diaries, appointments and client enquiries
• Handling telephone calls, emails, post and voicemails
• Maintaining client files and case management systems
• Producing invoices and supporting billing processes
• Covering reception and supporting other secretaries as needed

• Fast, accurate typing and strong IT skills
• Excellent organisation and attention to detail
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to prioritise workload and work calmly under pressure
• GCSEs (or equivalent) including Maths and English

• Legal secretarial or case management experience
• Digital dictation experience
• Adaptable, proactive and able to use initiative

• Full time, 36.25 hours per week
• Permanent position based in Wimborne
