Are you passionate about supporting young people with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs? An exciting opportunity awaits you in Wimborne! GSL Education are seeking a dedicated and empathetic individual to join a local school as an SEMH Teaching Assistant immediately.

As an SEMH Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with students who require additional emotional and behavioural support, helping them overcome challenges and achieve their full potential.

• Provide tailored support to students with SEMH needs.
• Collaborate with teachers, TAs, and pastoral teams to implement effective strategies.
• Create a safe, inclusive, and positive learning environment.
• Encourage resilience, confidence, and personal growth in students.
• Monitor progress and contribute to regular reviews and reports.

• Previous experience working with children or young people in an educational or support setting is essential.
• A proactive, patient, and empathetic approach to behaviour and emotional support.
• A genuine passion for supporting young people and promoting positive outcomes.
• Relevant qualifications or training in SEMH support, youth work, or special educational needs are advantageous.

• Have the right to work in the UK.
• Provide an up-to-date CV with two relevant references from the last 2 years.
• Hold a DBS registered to the update service or be willing to apply for one through GSL Education.
