Part-Time French and Spanish Lead at Castle Court School

Position Overview

We are seeking an enthusiastic, energetic and inspiring individual to join our Castle Court teaching time as a Part-Time French and Spanish Lead. Our new colleague will develop our pupils' love of languages across Years 3-8 as well as promoting the PSB skills that underpin our curriculum.

We are looking to welcome our new colleague in September 2026 on a permanent basis.

The ability to support with Sports matches would be an advantage.

Castle Court School is located in the small town of Corfe Mullen, in 55 acres of rolling Dorset countryside, and we are 15 minutes from the coast. We actively promote outdoor learning as we believe that our pupils should be inspired not only by those who teach them but also by the world in which they live. We are also passionate about unlocking each child’s potential by developing their passions and strengths.

We are therefore committed to providing an extensive co-curricular programme which inspires and challenges our pupils, develops character and leadership whilst also being lots of fun!

Our belief that childhood should be cherished and a time of great joy and growth underpins what we do. We want those leaving us at the end of Year 8 to be able to look back at their school years and say that it was the best of times, and most importantly, that it helped make them the person that they are today.

In terms of Modern Languages, our children currently learn French from Year 2 onwards. We are keen to work with our new colleague to not only continue to deliver this, but to expand the curriculum to include Spanish.
